A family residing on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Governess for their three children who are in kindergarten, grade 1, and grade 2. This position requires a fluent Arabic speaker to manage and oversee the children’s education and activities post-school hours. The role includes working within a fully staffed household and coordinating with a team of nanny assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the educational and developmental activities of three young children.
Pick up children from school and manage after-school activities including homework help, educational outings, and additional tutoring as needed.
Collaborate with the children’s schools and teachers to ensure continuity in educational goals and achievements.
Work closely with nanny assistants to ensure all children’s needs are met efficiently and harmoniously.
Organize and participate in activities that promote Arabic language use and cultural understanding.
Maintain daily communication with parents regarding the children’s progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
Fluent in Arabic, with strong communication skills.
Proven experience as a governess or in a similar educational role with young children.
Understanding of the educational requirements and social development for children in early schooling years.
Ability to work effectively within a fully staffed household and collaborate with other staff members.
Energetic, organized, and capable of fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for learning.
Professional and discreet in handling the family’s privacy.
Working Hours:
Term time: Monday to Friday, starting from school pickup time.
Non Term time: Flexible – longer hours.
Compensation:
Salary ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 AED per month.
Accommodation: 1-bedroom apartment provided.
