For Childcarers

The default language of our website is English. We allow candidate profiles written in English and/or French. Candidate profiles written in any other language will not be approved.

You understand that to use our platform, you must agree to receive emails from contact@jobsfornannies.com. If you unsubscribe from our emails, our service will not work and you will not be able to use our platform.

You understand that Jobs for Nannies is not a nanny agency and do not place or recruit nannies directly, nor do we intervene in the recruitment process.

You understand that Job for Nannies do not guarantee employment.

You acknowledge that we merely provide a facility to browse childcare jobs and to enable childcare providers to get in touch with private families or nanny recruiters.

You understand that we do not offer candidates an individual or personalized service, nor free individual coaching or tailored one to one advice. If you wish to use our platform, you must do so independently and in complete autonomy.

Our job is to provide you with free resources that are meant to be helpful, not to to answer any question that may come our way. It is not our responsibility to guide you or support you individually throughout your job search.

If you expect us to dedicate hours of our time to your personal needs, you understand that you will owe us financially for the time spent assisting you.

You must ensure that all the information you provide to us, and to any parent or agency, is true, accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.

We take security seriously and strive to provide a safe and transparent service to recruiters and candidates alike. To ensure the authenticity of your profile, we may require a copy of your ID for identity verification purposes. Your ID won’t be displayed on your profile and will only be accessible to our team. Its purpose is to confirm your identity and prevent bots from using our platform.

In order to maintain the quality of our service, we may also require to see your Curriculum Vitae, diplomas, references, police check or any other relevant document. Any additional documents you may send to us will not be displayed on our platform. We may request these additional documents to ensure that you are who you claim to be. Your documents will be permanently deleted once your profile is verified.

Jobs for Nannies does not provide any representations or warranties to the Candidate regarding any Private Employer or Nanny Recruiter.

We do not vet or monitor the parents and agencies who advertise on our website, and you agree that you will not held us liable, or seek to hold us liable, in relation to any loss, damage or expense that you suffer arising out of the actions or omissions of a parent or agency.

We cannot guarantee if and when a private employer or a nanny recruiter you contacted via our website will get back to you. 

You understand that Jobs for Nannies do not arrange interviews, contracts of employment or work visas.

You must read job postings carefully, and you will only apply if you genuinely meet the job requirements, not just because you find the conditions attractive.

You understand that families may have specific languages requirements. You must speak the required languages ​​at a native level. You will only apply if you are a native speaker.

You understand that it is not possible to work legally in the US with an ESTA or with a B1/B2 visa, even if the position is temporary or rotating.

You will apply for US-based positions only if you hold a US passport or a Green Card.

You understand that since Brexit, EU and US citizens cannot work in the UK without a “settled or pre-settled status” or without a visa.

You will apply for UK-based positions only if you hold a UK passport or a “settled or pre-settled status”.

If you are a UK passport holder, you understand that you can no longer work in Europe without a visa since Brexit, and you will apply for positions in Europe only if you have dual European nationality, or a EU work permit.

You understand that private families in Europe, the UK, the USA and Australia never sponsor visas, and you will only apply for jobs in those locations if you have the legal right to work in the country of employment.

You understand that families are not obliged to provide accommodation and offer relocation. You understand that families are not obliged to consider relocation candidates either. You understand that when the position is “Live-out”, recruiters are looking for candidates already based locally, and not candidates willing to relocate (even at their own expense). If the position is “Live-out” and if housing/relocation is not explicitly offered, you will only apply if you can commute to work.

You understand that no employer will change their requirements to suit your needs and that applying when you’re not a right fit just wastes everyone’s time.

You understand that the key to finding a job is not to apply to as many positions as possible but to apply to relevant jobs, and that more applications does not mean more responses to your applications and more interviews.

You will not send mass applications or unsuitable applications via our portal and you understand that we may suspend your online resume temporarily or permanently if you send too many unsuitable applications.

You will not send unsolicited messages to private employers and nanny recruiters advertising on Jobs for Nannies.

You will communicate respectfully with the private employers and nanny recruiters advertising on Jobs for Nannies and you will demonstrate professional behavior.

You understand that Jobs for Nannies cannot recommend you for childcare if you exhibit aggressive, threatening, harassing or insulting behavior.

Discretion is paramount in this industry, so you understand that your social media activity may harm your job search if it is public. And therefore, you also understand that Jobs for Nannies cannot recommend candidates who spend their time venting or engaging in slanderous posts on social media.

We expect our candidates to understand the concept of privacy and to respect confidentiality, therefore your online resume will not be approved if you write down the names of the families you have worked with and your references in your personal profile .

You will not offer services to parents other than as an individual childcarer. It is strictly forbidden to offer childcare agency services to parents on our website.

You will not create multiple accounts. Jobs for Nannies only allows one “candidate” account per person.

We can make an exception if you are both a nanny looking for work and a nanny agency owner (or if you are helping a family you know find a nanny), in that case you will obviously need to create two separate accounts : a “candidate” account and a “recruiter” account, using two different email addresses. If you use our platform as both a candidate and a recruiter, you will need to comply with both the Candidate and Recruiter Terms & Conditions.

If you do not respect our Terms & Conditions :

If you do not follow the instructions given in our Terms and Conditions, you understand that you will simply never hear back from your applications. You also understand that you are harming the reputation of our website.

Therefore, we reserve the right to restrict access to our Website and/or Services at any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation. 

We may suspend your account temporarily or permanently. If your account is suspended, there is no point in appealing the decision as we will not reverse it.

For Private Families and Nanny Recruiters

Parents and agencies must ensure that all job advertisements that they submit to the website for publication are true, accurate, complete, current and not misleading.

It is your sole responsibility to carry out interviews and to conduct the necessary checks to ensure that Candidates are suitable for the advertised job.

You will obtain explicit permission from Candidates before conducting background checks or contacting their references and you will not use the Candidates’ referees details for business purposes.

Jobs for Nannies do not arrange interviews, contracts of employment or work visas.

All job postings must be for an individual job rather than for general recruitment.

We warrant to parents and agencies that we will perform the paid-for service with reasonable care and skill.

We do not warrant that parents and agencies will receive any applications in relation to their job advertisement(s). We cannot guarantee that the applications received will be from Candidates suitable for the advertised job(s).

As a Private Employer or Recruiter, you may collect various types of personal information from candidates during the recruitment process. This includes, but is not limited to : name, address, contact details, and date of birth of candidate, Curriculum Vitae, proof of ID, copies of diplomas and references, background checks etc… As a Private Employer or Recruiter, it is your responsibility to handle and process the personal information of candidates in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

You will not create multiple accounts. Jobs for Nannies only allows one account per person.

If you do not respect our Terms & Conditions :

We reserve the right to restrict access to our Website and/or Services at any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation. 

We may suspend your account temporarily or permanently. If your account is suspended, there is no point in appealing the decision as we will not reverse it.

Fees

The fees in respect to our website services will be as set out on the website.

All amounts stated on our website are inclusive of all taxes. All payments must be made in euros.

You must pay to us the fees in respect of our website services in advance, in accordance with any instructions on our website.

We may vary fees from time to time by posting new fees on our website, but this will not affect fees for services that have previously been paid.

If you dispute any payments made to us, you must contact us immediately and provide full details of your claim.

No refunds will be issued.
