We are currently seeking a live-in nanny to provide comprehensive care for a baby and a school-aged girl on behalf of our European client residing in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Arabic or Portuguese and have a passion for child care. This is a full-time position, requiring care for six days a week.
Responsibilities:
Childcare: Provide nurturing care and supervision to both children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Cooking: Prepare nutritious meals for the family, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Lunchbox Preparation: Create healthy and appealing lunchboxes for the school-aged girl to take to school.
Baby Care: Attend to the baby’s needs, including feeding, changing diapers, and engaging in playtime activities.
Evening Assistance: Be available to attend to the baby if she wakes up during the evening.
Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up common areas, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness in the children’s rooms.
Bath Time: Assist with bath time for both children, ensuring their hygiene needs are met.
School Pick-up: Accompany the school-aged girl for pick-up from school and provide transportation as necessary.
Fun Activities: Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate and stimulating activities to encourage their development and enjoyment.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the parents regarding the children’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns or updates.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role is highly preferred.
Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic or Portuguese is required to effectively communicate with the children and family.
Flexibility: Must be available to work six days a week and be flexible with occasional additional hours, as needed.
Cooking Skills: Proficient in cooking and capable of preparing healthy and balanced meals.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
Patience and Empathy: Possess a patient and nurturing demeanor, understanding the needs and emotions of young children.
Trustworthiness: Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for the family’s privacy and confidentiality.
