INTERNATIONAL/PLAYA DEL REY, CA/NEW YORK ( NATIONWIDE SEARCH) – Affluent family seeking FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY to travel and care for their 5-month-old son. The family splits their time living between New York, Los Angeles, and Monaco (6 months/year) and they also travel regularly to the Caymen Islands. Nanny would need to have a passport and be willing to travel and live abroad for the position. In all locations, the nanny would have private living accommodations. The family is looking for someone who is professional, motivated, positive, loves kids and babies, is hard-working, self-sufficient, family-oriented, and knows how to handle themselves around a high-profile family and various household staff. This family has a formal household and a uniform is required and provided. The perfect candidate will be comfortable partnering with a SAHM with a busy social schedule while having extensive knowledge of babies and toddlers. The nanny would need to be comfortable driving the child in the U.S. in a family-provided car. A chauffeur is provided while traveling abroad. The hours would be 8 am – 8 pm Monday – Friday with flexibility for evenings and weekends based upon needs. English speaking is a must and bi-lingual is a plus. French, Spanish, and Arabic language preferred as second languages but the family is open to other languages as well. The nanny needs to have a knowledge of growth stages and baby-toddler development. The nanny needs to be CPR/First Aid certified and be a strong swimmer.
Duties include laundry for the child, bathing him, cleaning baby supplies, picking up the nursery, accompanying mom to doctor appointments, taking the son to play dates, planning activities for development, and all things involved with the baby. The nanny needs to understand how to handle tantrums and behaviors while practicing thoughtful parenting.
The nanny would need to sign a non-disclosure agreement. All vaccinations must be up to date: tdap, covid, covid booster, and MMR. Nanny will be paid hourly & legally on the books and in accordance with Tax Law, ranging from $65,000 -100,000 depending on your experience, work history, credentials, and level of education.
