We are seeking a mature, kind, caring, experience/qualified nanny to care for two young children – ages 7 months old and 5 yrs old on a sole charge basis for busy professional parents.
The older child is at school 4-days per week, but you will be responsible for drop off and collection and all after school activities. In addition you will have full care of the baby and arranging classes and activities. This is a very child-focussed role, though the parents would love someone who embraces family life and doesn’t mind occasionally mucking in to ensure the sooth running of the home. A cleaner is employed.
The position is based in the countryside in a beautiful setting, with a village close by, and a few miles from the nearest larger town, plus 45 mins to 1-hour from the city. A car driver is essential – a car will be provided for use at work and for leisure. With this in mind, you must be someone who enjoys the countryside and a quieter pace of life!
The family offer self contained accomodation for the nanny, with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/living room & wifi, separate from the main house – but the nanny would also be very welcome to eat dinner with the family if you choose to do so.
Hours are usually 7.30-7.30 Monday to Friday – with occasional babysitting, some flexibility is appreciated depending on the parents schedule.
The family have come highly recommended by their previous maternity nurse.
