A family based in Manhattan are looking for an experienced and professional nanny to support them with their baby boy, who will be 6 months old at the start of the role. Mum will be working from home and values a collaborative approach where the nanny is confident undertaking all sole charge duties but can also create a harmonious environment where teamwork and good communication are key.
The family is multilingual, with the mother speaking French and the father speaking Egyptian Arabic. They are therefore looking for a fluent Egyptian Arabic speaker to ensure their little boy is naturally exposed to the language from an early age and can begin to learn and understand it as part of his daily routine and care.
Job specification:
Undertaking all daily baby duties on both a sole charge and shared charge basis
Planning and preparing learning and development activities at home to support the all-round development of the little boy
Attending activities, playdates, groups and going for walks
Following his daily routine – naps schedules, meals etc.
Undertaking all nursery duties – laundry for the little boy, play areas, bedrooms etc.
Supporting with weaning and preparing healthy meals and snacks for him
Candidate specification:
A fluent Egyptian Arabic speaker is required as well as a good level of English for effective day to day communication
Experience working with babies is required and a strong knowledge of supporting all the different key milestones
Someone who is able to work as a team with mum and can work well collaboratively
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Start Date: Beginning of January 2026
Salary up to $90,000 gross per year
