Full-time live in or live out Nanny job in Dubai. The required Nanny must be fluent in either English, Spanish or Arabic and will care for eight-month-old baby girl. The informal family seek a Nanny who is positive, outgoing, playful and imaginative, yet organised, courteous and well-versed in manners and etiquette. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for children and a penchant for the outdoors. Mum works from home and is actively involved in caring for the baby, so the position will be on a shared charge basis. Hence a flexible approach and an easy-going, patient demeanor would be best suited for the job. Proficiency in children development, at least 2-3 years of experience with newborns to five year old’s, driving license and healthy cooking skills are required. Norland or children development/psychology credentials are considered a plus. The family seeks a candidate who is looking for a long-term engagement and is willing to care for future siblings.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Creating a warm and stimulating environment with love, excitement, affection, care and lots of conversation;
• All nursery duties, and supporting with early developmental stages such as weaning and toilet-training;
• Organising creative educational activities at home such as games, drawing and crafting, reading;
• Organising outdoor activities and fostering a strong connection with nature;
• Organising and taking the child to playdates, extracurricular activities, sports sessions, and outings to promote physical fitness and social interaction;
• Traveling with the family as required;
• Organizing birthdays and other events, applying for nurseries, booking appointments, shopping;
• Providing an education that incorporates cultural awareness and polite behaviour;
• Menu planning, preparing healthy and nutritious meals and feeding;
• Nursery duties including keeping bedrooms, wardrobes, feeding areas and play areas tidy and organised (a full-time housekeeper will assist with this).
Should the Nanny live in, either a private bedroom/bathroom will be provided or separate accomodation expenses paid by employer. Working hours; 10-12 hours 5 days a week when in Dubai and 6 days a week when travelling, plus 2 babysitting nights. Salary starting from £1000 per week net, dependent on experience. Interviews to commence right away for a soon as possible start date.
