Family in Cresskill, New Jersey is seeking an experienced and highly educated Russian-speaking Nanny to provide full-time care for two children (ages 4 and 2). This is a rotational position (2 weeks on/2 weeks off), working collaboratively with another nanny to ensure consistent, high-quality care for the children. The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational foundation and a genuine passion for child development, fostering a nurturing and structured environment that supports both the children’s emotional well-being and language preservation. Formal education in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, teaching, or Child Psychology courses is strongly preferred. Additional certifications or specialized courses related to children’s development, safety, or education are considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care for two toddlers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional development
Encourage the children’s growth and curiosity through structured educational and recreational activities, including creative projects, reading, sports, and play
Support bilingual development, with a focus on preserving and strengthening the children’s Russian language skills.
Organize playdates, outings, and extracurricular activities
Maintain the children’s daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and bedtime
Travel with the family when required, ensuring consistency and comfort for the children
Maintain open and consistent communication with parents about the children’s development, daily routines, and specific needs
Work as an integral part of the nannies’ team, following a rotational schedule to ensure continuous, high-quality care
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000+ DOE
