Our current Northwest Arkansas family is now looking for a highly experienced newborn nanny. Additional certifications such as nursing license or newborn care specialist certifications are a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must have previous, extensive, newborn nanny experience, is warm, loving, and patient. The baby is due in December and will be joining 2 siblings ( a preschooler and a toddler), so having experience helping older children acclimate to a new baby is a must. This candidate will be live-in while on duty and is expected to work around the clock while on shift. The nanny needs to be respectful and intuitive of the parents’ time with the new baby and older children. Nanny is expected to work as a team with the other nannies and the other baby nurse. Nanny should also be comfortable with lots of travel, mostly domestic, and be comfortable working around dogs. This is a temporary position and is expected to last anywhere from 3-9 months.
Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to: complete newborn care and support of the parents approach to the babies care, working as a team with the current baby nurse, and other nannies, flexibility and supporting the other nannies where needed, extensive previous newborn care, ability to work 7-16 days on shift a month, ability to travel as needed, and the ability to start mid December to mid January.
The schedule for this role is TBD. The position will last 3-9 months. Compensation for this role will be a daily rate of $650-$850 DOE. This is a temporary role so there are no benefits offered. Must be COVID vaxxed and be up to date on all other vaccinations and be able to provide documentation. Must be comfortable working around dogs. The family is looking to fill this role ASAP!
