A family in San Francisco is looking for a Spanish-speaking nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged children, with primary focus on the toddler. This is a unique long-term opportunity for someone who truly loves early childhood development and enjoys building a child’s learning through everyday moments, structure, and play. The ideal nanny will be warm, hands-on, and genuinely invested in education, with a background or degree in childhood education strongly preferred.
This role is best suited to someone experienced, organised, and confident working in a collaborative, parent-involved household. The nanny will speak Spanish exclusively with the children, helping create a strong language foundation while also supporting routines, learning, and social development. The family is active, travel is required, and they are looking for someone who is comfortable being on the go and fully engaged when on duty.
Responsibilities include:
Providing primary care for a toddler, with support for school-aged children as needed
Speaking Spanish exclusively with the children to support full language immersion
Creating fun, educational, and developmentally appropriate activities
Escorting children to classes, activities, and appointments
Organising and coordinating playdates and social outings
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Maintaining children’s rooms, belongings, and wardrobes
Managing children’s laundry and keeping play areas tidy
Supporting daily routines and transitions throughout the day
Helping maintain a clean and organised home environment related to the children
Partnering closely with involved parents on development and routines
Travelling with the family as required
The schedule is two weeks on / two weeks off, with live-in accommodation provided only during working weeks. Candidates must have their own residence during off weeks. This is a local San Francisco position only (no relocation) and requires a driver and strong swimming ability. The family offers a $150,000–$200,000 salary range, plus health insurance and stipend
