We are seeking a warm, experienced Mandarin-speaking nanny to care for two children (a toddler and a newborn) in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate has prior experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously, embraces a gentle parenting philosophy and is passionate about fostering a nurturing, respectful, and developmentally supportive environment. Strong communication skills in Mandarin are required, and a background in early childhood development or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities include maintaining consistent daily routines for both children, washing and sanitizing bottles, preparing healthy meals, and handling children’s laundry as needed. The nanny will also be responsible for keeping a clean, safe, and organized play environment, including regular toy organization. A key part of the role is engaging the children in active, hands-on play that supports their physical, emotional, and cognitive development, with a strong emphasis on Mandarin language development through conversation, reading, and play-based learning.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering up to $35 per hour depending on experience.
