Italian-Speaking Nanny – Upper West Side, NYC
A professional family in New York City’s Upper West Side is seeking a caring, Italian-speaking nanny to provide full-time care for their newborn. The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive, and enjoys creating a stimulating environment that supports the baby’s early development.
This role involves hands-on childcare, light household duties, and supporting the family’s daily routines. The family is open to a live-in or live-out arrangement, depending on the candidate’s preference and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full-time care for a newborn, including diapering, feeding, dressing, and soothing
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
Assist with nap routines and maintaining a consistent baby schedule
Perform light household tasks related to the baby, including laundry and tidying play areas
Prepare simple meals or snacks for the baby
Support family errands, including grocery shopping
Communicate effectively with parents about the baby’s daily activities and milestones
Ideal Candidate
Fluent in Italian
Experienced caring for newborns and infants
Patient, nurturing, and attentive to developmental needs
Able to work collaboratively with parents
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
