Bilingual Nanny in Dubai, UAE
A professional, multilingual family in Dubai is seeking an experienced Bilingual Nanny to care for their 7-year-old daughter. The household speaks English, French, Spanish, and Italian, and the nanny will need to communicate effectively in a multi-lingual environment.
This is a staffed household with a housekeeper, cook, and driver, so the ideal candidate will be a team player who can work collaboratively while maintaining sole charge of the child when needed.
This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom provided. The nanny will work 6 days per week, with time off when the child is at school Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the child for the school day: breakfast, dressing, and personal hygiene
Drop-off and pick-up coordination (transportation handled by the family driver)
Plan and execute playdates, classes, and activities (park, tennis lessons, golf lessons, etc.)
Oversee dinner, bath time, and bedtime routines
Sole charge of the child, occasionally working alongside the mother
Assist with homework and coordinate with tutors as needed
Encourage independence and personal development
Travel with the family as required
Ideal Candidate
Experienced nanny, confident in childcare for school-aged children
Bilingual; fluency in English plus at least one other language is preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to plan educational and recreational activities
Flexible, reliable, and a team player able to work with household staff
Holds a British or European Union passport
Comfortable living in a private accommodation within the family home
Compensation
£4,000+ per month, depending on experience
