Professional family is seeking a caring ROTA nanny for two girls, ages 3 and 1.5. This role follows a one-month on / one-month off rotation, alternating with the family’s current nanny. Care will be split between homes in New York City, Puerto Rico, and Florida with extended domestic and international travel occasionally required. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin (Putonghua / Standard Mandarin with Simplified Characters), the global standard, and able to teach the children through daily interaction, structured play, music, and enrichment activities. For children ages 3 and 1.5, the focus will be on clarity, standard pronunciation, and immersion through play, music, and daily routines — ensuring they pick up the language effortlessly.

Core Responsibilities

Provide safe, engaged, and loving care for two children (ages 3 and 1.5), ensuring consistent routines (meals, naps, bedtime, play).
Lead age-appropriate educational activities, with a focus on Mandarin language exposure and development.
Support structured play, outings, arts, reading, and enrichment; collaborate with parents and teachers.
Manage children’s belongings, packing/unpacking for travel, and maintaining organized play and learning spaces.
Perform light child-related housekeeping (laundry, meal prep, tidying).
Travel with the family, upholding routines across locations.
Exercise full discretion, flexibility, and professionalism while working within a staffed household.

Qualifications

Fluent in Standard Mandarin (Putonghua), with the ability to teach children through immersion.
Substantial private household nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Warm, genuinely child-focused demeanor with high emotional intelligence.
CPR/First Aid/AED certified (or willing to renew immediately).
Early childhood education, teaching, or child psychology background is strongly preferred.
Valid U.S. passport; clean driving record.
Ability to collaborate with parents, teachers, and household staff seamlessly.

Schedule & Rotation

One month on, one month off (ROTA).
Live-in during working month; live wherever you choose during off month.
On-call for overnights and weekends while on rotation.
Scheduled breaks and relief days during extended travel.

Travel

Regular domestic travel (New York, Puerto Rico, Florida); occasional extended trips, including international.
Private bedroom accommodations provided in each home and while traveling.
All meals, transport, and travel expenses covered when traveling with the family.

Compensation & Employment

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
W-2 employment with benefits (health insurance, PTO, etc.).
Paid trial required for finalists; background and reference checks completed.
