A family is looking for a live-out native Italian-speaking nanny to support their three children, aged 10-6. This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children and naturally brings warmth, structure, and a calm presence into the afternoon routine. A big part of the role is helping the children stay confident and engaged with the Italian language in a natural, everyday way through conversation, reading, and play.
The ideal nanny will be organised, reliable, and comfortable managing after-school routines while keeping things relaxed but structured. The family is hoping to find someone who feels confident supporting homework, coordinating activities, and gently guiding the children through their evening routine so the household runs smoothly each day.
Responsibilities include:
- School pick-ups and safe transport home
- Supporting children with homework and school tasks
- Taking children to and from appointments and activities
- Reinforcing Italian language learning through reading, games, and conversation
- Supervising and helping children prepare school and sports bags
- Preparing simple, healthy dinners for the children
- Managing evening routines in a calm and structured way
- Supporting a tidy, organised end-of-day routine
The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The family is offering £20 gross per hour.
