Reminder EU and US Nannies!
Since Brexit, if you hold a EU or US passport, it is no longer possible for you to work legally in the UK without a visa.
EU and US nannies can still go on holiday to the UK without a visa. However if they do not have a UK passport, Settled or Pre-settled status they cannot work in the UK without a visa and unfortunately most of the time visas are not sponsored…
If you hold a EU or US passport, there is no point in applying for UK-based positions : employers and recruiters want candidates who are already authorized to work in the UK.
Without a UK passport, a “Settled” or “Pre-Settled” status, you will not be considered for UK-based jobs and you will just waste your time.
