So many nannies apply for absolutely any position with the word “ROTA” in it, simply because they saw the word “ROTA” in the job description.

These candidates focus so much on the word “ROTA” that they forget that the job requirements matter.
And obviously, these candidates do not understand why their applications are unsuccessful…

It’s great if a ROTA schedule works for you, but when applying for nanny positions, you shouldn’t just scan the job descriptions to see if there is the word ROTA… Before you apply, you should also take the time to read the rest of the advert and make sure you meet the requirements!

Families and agencies looking to fill ROTA positions are not looking for candidates who apply to every job with the word ROTA in the description, they are looking for the right fit and need candidates who meet their requirements.

Just because you are willing to take any rotational position, does not mean the family is willing to hire any candidate who is looking for a rotational position…

Applying to absolutely every job posting that contains the word “ROTA” simply makes no sense. There is no way that all of these jobs will match your profile just because they all contain a keyword that interests you.

Nannies, when you send out mass applications for rotating positions, you are wasting your time… wanting to work in rotation is not enough motivation to get a ROTA job…

If you keep applying every time you see the word ROTA, just because you saw the word ROTA, you are never going to land a rotational position.
