Nannies,

If you want recruiters to take the time to answer your questions by email, please, do not fill their inbox with obvious questions.

It’s not okay to ask someone to take the time to answer your questions when the answers are obvious or common sense, or when you only need to read the information available to you to get the answer.

If you bother people with obvious questions during your application, it may mean that you will do the same to your employer if you get the job, and the recruiter may not be able to recommend you for this reason.

Instead ask relevant questions to show your attention to detail, that you’ve done your research, and that you’re genuinely interested in the role.

Asking relevant questions can help show the recruiter why you are awesome and deserve their attention!
