Do not get us wrong, we’re not saying that you should apply for jobs you don’t like!
And of course, the location and conditions should suit you.
But if you apply for a job simply because you find the location and/or the conditions attractive that can’t work, and you shouldn’t be surprised that no one gets back to you!

Just because you find a position attractive doesn’t mean you are made for it! Sometimes you have to know how to tell yourself : “Wow, this position sounds really cool, too bad I’m not the right candidate for it…” or “Wow, this position sounds really cool, and the candidate who gets it will be very lucky!”.

Families and agencies are not seeking candidates who just like their job(s), they want candidates who can actually fill their position(s)…
Recruiters are not stupid and will see straight away if your motivations for the position are not the right ones.

If you want to find a job, you have to be able to be honest with yourself and know how to identify the positions that are right for you (even if they are less attractive than other positions).
You must target jobs that you’re likely to get, not jobs that you just like. And you must apply only if you genuinely meet the requirements. Applying when you’re not the right fit just wastes everyone’s time!
