A tight-knit and loving family of 4 in White Plains, NY is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and engaging nanny for their 2 children, a toddler, and an infant.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am – 5:30 pm.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to everything relating to the children’s care and well-being:
Engaging with the children in age-appropriate activities.
Driving to and from school and activities.
Indoor and outdoor play.
Engaging the children in fun, creative, and educational activities.
Meal preparation for the children.
Bottle feedings and sterilizing equipment.
Arranging playdates and activities.
Maintaining eating and napping schedules.
Diaper changes.
Putting the children down for naps.
Child-related chores, including dishes & laundry, and keeping the children’s room and the main spaces clean, tidy and organized.
The ideal candidate will be communicative, honest, organized, creative, reliable, trustworthy, a self-starter with a strong work ethic, safety-conscious, covid conscious, knowledgeable about children’s healthy growth and development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, and will prioritize education and learning.
A background and/or education in Child Care/ ECE is a major plus, but not a requirement.
