Family based near Wandsworth Common SW11 need the help of a switched on and proactive nanny to look after their 6 month old baby girl. Candidates must have a good knowledge of developmental milestones & weaning (An Early Childhood Development background or Montessori / Norland training is preferred). They are looking for someone who can engage with the little one and ensure that she grows up in a caring, playful and compassionate environment and help her hit all her developmental milestones. Whilst Mum and Dad work full time and it is a sole charge role, they are very involved and we are particularly looking for someone who can work with the family in a collaborative and inclusive way.
They would love someone who is proactive, totally reliable and with a warm friendly can do and adventurous way about them!.
General Duties:
Sole charge of the 6 month old
Implementation of the routine as agreed with parents (put in place by the maternity nurse)
Structured & spontaneous play activities to encourage growth and development.
Preparation of milk feeds / bottles & all baby meals as weaning is introduced.
Arranging/attending groups and play dates.
Nursery duties – baby laundry, emptying dishwasher, keeping everything neat and tidy etc
Occasional Babysitting on evenings and weekends by agreement (paid in addition).
Working Days: Monday -Friday ,5 days 7.30/8am until 6pm (with flexibility ) 50- 52.5 hours per week
Start Date: End November / January ( Can be flexible for right person
Salary: £52,000 – £60,000 gross per year DOE
