Family in Tribeca, NY is looking for a full-time family assistant; 2 children, 9 year-old girl and 10 year-old boy (on the autism spectrum). They are looking for an organized, bright, easy going, patient, and resourceful. Duties would include:
Nanny – only being a supervisor and caregiver when children are home from school.
Family assisting – while children are in school, varies duties include
Manage family calendar
School and personal lives of children
Children’s closet management – organizing – donations drop off
Research where the family travels to and coordinate with travel agent to plan family activities and – dinner reservations,
Help research gifts for family as needed
Organize bills, mail, running errands, house management- list repairs as needed
Travel only as needed (additional pay)
9 year-old girl and 10 year-old boy (Autistic) emotional skills
Homework help as needed
Monday-Friday 11am – 7pm $40 per hour or more, health insurance stipend, 2 weeks paid vacation, Finland June & August 6-8 weeks (you only travel for few weeks per month while they stay away, you’re paid to be off)
Must be organized
Family employs a housekeeper also
Live-in when parents travel (additional pay)
