A Spartanburg, South Carolina family is looking for a long-term, full-time house manager/nanny to join their home in this vibrant city. This is a live-out position. If the candidate does not live nearby, the family is happy to pay for your own apartment about a mile away from their home. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, with the flexibility to occasionally stay late if needed. They have two children ages 6 and 2 years old, with another child on the way due in December. Duties for this position include running household errands, meal preparation, laundry, and assisting with the children and their activities and school. The family is tidy so the ideal candidate is someone who is organized and proactive with helping out around the home, as well as someone who can be firm yet loving with the kids. This person must be able to drive (the family will provide a vehicle for work purposes only) and swim. Additionally, this person must be able to cook for the whole family and should be comfortable cooking vegan dishes for a member of the family. Travel both internationally and domestically is required. The family offers a competitive salary plus health insurance.
