A private family based in Southampton, NY seeks to hire an experienced Nanny to assist with the care of three children (boys) ages 8, 5, and 1 years old. This position requires working as part of a team with the parents who both work but are hands on. Responsibilities:
- Childcare: assisting with the daily care, and supervision of children while creating a fun, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Help with the day-to-day upkeep of the household
- Cleaning, organizing, laundry, and helping with general housekeeping tasks
- Assist with cooking meals and healthy snacks for the children
- Must be a strong swimmer, and comfortable monitoring kids in the swimming pool
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must be travel-ready (domestic travel is required and international travel is a plus)
Schedule: Live-in or out if local. Wednesday at Noon – Sunday at noon.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years related private home experience
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have a strong command of the English
- Prior experience with care for multiple children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to travel as needed
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Flexibility with hours and scheduling
- Strong swimming skills to occasionally monitor kids in the swimming pool
- A certificate in CPR and First Aid is a huge plus
- Must have United States work authorization
- Valid Passport
