Our private client is looking to hire a live-out nanny to look after a lovely 5-year-old girl. The family would prefer a Norland Nanny, yet someone who holds a degree in early years, behaviour, and psychology.
During term time, the working hours will be scheduled around school time.
School Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8am-3pm
- Friday 8am-12 noon with after school options.
The working hours for those days will be as follows:
- Monday: 2:30pm-6/8pm.
- Tuesday: 7:30am-6/8pm.
- Wednesday: 2:30pm-8pm.
- Thursday: 2:30pm-8pm.
- Friday: 7:30am-5pm.
The nanny will be required to do 2 nights of babysitting per week. Some weekend work may be required from time to time. This will be discussed in advance and the nanny will of course have time off in lieu. (When the little one will be with her father).
Evening care requirements will depend on the mother’s plans and the nanny may not be needed until 8pm in which case she will finish her day earlier (6pm).
Part of the role will be taking the little girl to school, most likely twice a week (Tuesday and Friday).
All hours will be respectfully by agreement based on family needs.
Non term time: approximately Monday – Friday 9-6pm totalling 45 hours. Up to two nights babysitting. At times to travel with the family for time in lieu.
Holiday allowance: 28 days per year inclusive of bank holidays.
Nanny’s holiday dates to be agreed to fit in with family needs and time abroad.
Babysitting nights will usually be later than 8pm on occasion and a place to stay can be provided as required.
Salary: £50,000 per year.
