Single parent household with 5 yr old child based in Romford, Essex requiring a daily nanny to support with all aspects of child-care, including school drop off and pick up (car driver/owner essential).
Responsibilities:
Morning routine, breakfast and prep for school
School drop off & collection & after-school activities & classes
Setting boundaries, gentle discipline
Support with homework, reading, phonics etc.
Organising equipment, kit, resources, uniform etc. for school and any other requirements for school work/projects/cake bakes/fairs etc.
Liaising with the school/teachers; and communicating with parent regarding important matters, whilst dealing with the minutiae.
Preparing tea/supper and bath-time bedtime
Having fun – outings to park/activities etc.
Time off between approx 10am-2.30/3pm as long as all necessary duties completed.
The ideal nanny for this role will be a sensitive, compassionate and kind person; the role requires someone with emotional intelligence, maturity and flexibility. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are required to provide the support that is required in this role. Although not essential, experience of working with additional needs would be a bonus.
Terms:
Commencing: From November 2024 onwards
Days: Monday – Friday 7am – 7pm (with daily break during term time and occasionally in school holidays)
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 gross annual salary
