NCS – HOUSTON, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – Physician family in River Oaks is seeking a Newborn Care Specialist ASAP for 6-7 days a week during nights. Hours are 8 pm -8 am with some flexibility on start and finish times. The family has just come home with their premie baby who is just now at her 37 weeks mark. This is the family’s baby and they are familiar with having an NCS and seeking someone to partner with them during this time.
The perfect candidate would have an understanding of caring for preemie babies and open communication with mom and dad. The infant is currently being monitored in the home for sepsis and should be in the clear by the end of the week. There are 2 dogs in the home, however, they are not allowed around the new baby.
Start date is ASAP and the timeline will roughly be 8-12 weeks depending on the family’s needs. The candidate needs to be fully vaccinated and willing to wear a mask since the baby is a preemie. Pay is $35-40/hr.
