A lovely private family in North Palm Beach, FL seeks a warm, positive, and engaging Nanny to care for their two young children (ages 2 years old and 2 months old). This is a full-time, live-out position that consists of a Monday-Friday schedule, roughly 10 hours per day, with overriding flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed. The family is looking for a long-term Nanny, who is easy-going and can blend seamlessly into their family dynamic. Along with childcare duties, a successful candidate would assist principals with other tasks such as cooking and light housekeeping for the children, running errands, ordering groceries, etc. The ideal candidate will be proactive, communicative, and energetic to contribute to the congenial atmosphere of their home. Candidate must be knowledgeable about baby/toddler developmental milestones
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, and supervision of the family’s two children
- Creating and implementing a stimulating and educational environment for the children through reading, games, outdoor adventures, walks & outings, crafts, exercises, and toy use.
- Candidate must strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment within the home.
- Light tidying up and laundry services for the children
- Cooking and introducing new foods to the children
- Travel with the family to additional residences and on vacations as needed
- Additional Nanny responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the principals
Requirements
- Fluent in English, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Minimum 5 + years related experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
- Polished, poised, and professional; always use of utmost discretion and confidentiality
- Knowledgeable of infant and toddler developmental milestones
- Cooking skills REQUIRED; able and willing to prepare healthy meals for the child
- Valid Driver’s License; confident driver with clean driving record is
- Valid Passport with willingness to travel domestically and internationally if needed
- Vaccinated for COVID-19 with booster
- Legally able to work in the United States
