Engaging Educator Nanny Needed Full Time Live-Out for 8 months old Infant in Oakton, VA
The family has two children, their eldest has their own nanny. The family’s infant is easygoing, happy and always smiling! He is taking a few steps, crawling and loves stimulating activities. He attends gym class twice per week and swim class once per week (nanny will be in the pool with him). The family values a person who is interactive with the children and creative, cultivating and planning new activities.
Responsibilities include duties pertaining to the child, including implementing educational activities and classes, implementing and creating a nap, feeding and daily schedule for the child, liaising with parents and other members of staff, implementing/maintaining a feeding and nap schedule and adjusting it as child grows, and driving/accompanying the child to activities and making healthy meals for the child.
Nanny must have a deep understanding of child development and education and can apply it accordingly. It is important for the nanny to implement educational activities such as flash cards, stimulate and foster development and growth, create and maintain a schedule of activities.
Family travels throughout the year, it is important that their nanny be available to travel for international or domestic trips comprising some long weekends and overnights with the family or at the family’s home.
Family can provide a vehicle to drive their child, if needed.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7/8am – 4/5pm (guaranteed 40 hours per week and overtime when applicable) Many weeks may be up to 45 hours each week. Candidate must be adaptable!
Rate: $32+/hour DOE & benefits
