NYC/INDIA (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-An international family with boots in NYC and India seeks a FULL-TIME LIVE IN NANNY for their newborn baby girl, born in late October (she will be 3-4 months old at the time of start). They also have a 7- and 10-year-old who are with them on weekends. Primary care is for the infant. They would love to continue to grow their family and have a nanny who is willing to grow with them for years to come! A typical work schedule is approximately 10 hours per day 5-6 days per week. The exact hours will be set. Must be flexible and willing to travel!
They live in NYC for 8-9 months of the year and are in India for 3-4 months of the year, depending on dad’s business requirements. They have a multi-room condo in the business district of Bangalore, India. It is an incredibly safe area. The condo is located next to a mall with plenty of entertainment activities and shopping. While in India, the nanny will be provided either a private room and bathroom within the condo, or the family will rent a long-term room in a nearby security-controlled hotel (1 bdr/full kitchen/full bath/housekeeping included). The building is ultra-modern with gyms/pools/volleyball courts/a movie theatre with stadium seating and a restaurant in the building. Manhattan is their primary place of residence while in the US, where they have a 3-4 bedroom Midtown apartment. Nanny will have their own private bedroom in NYC.
The family also travels to destinations such as St. Barth, Dubai, Mauritius, Maldives, Paris and Bali. They would love for their nanny to come along! Must have a valid passport and know how to navigate busy airports with child(ren) in tow! They have a small Maltese that travels with them…must love dogs!
While overseas, they have a fully staffed household to take care of all the cooking and housekeeping needs. The nanny’s duties are only related to childcare. The nanny will also have access to a car and driver. All lodging and travel expenses will be covered by the family. They will also take care of grocery expenses and/or provide meals (they eat a mix of western and Indian food — all veggies are organic and non-GMO, grown at their private farm). Nanny is welcome to plant a plot at their farm to grow their favorite veggies as well! Additionally, all medical expenses and normal dental expenses will be covered by the family while in India.
The ideal candidate genuinely loves children and is open to new experiences and living in new environments. Must have prior professional nanny experience, ideally with infants and toddlers. All standard immunizations are required. Must have a valid passport and a love for travel and experiencing new cultures!
