A lovely family in Norfolk are looking to hire a daily nanny for their soon to be 2 children. They currently have an 18-month-old girl & expecting a new-born in June 2023. They are a really warm and friendly family who are looking to find someone as soon as possible, however, are willing to wait for the right person. They are very open and willing to be flexible on hours outside of the core hours mentioned above. Mum works full-time with her office not too far from home, if ever the nanny needed any help, she is close by, whilst Dad is currently studying (mainly out of the house, although occasionally studies from home). The eldest daughter is hopefully joining nursery in September 2023, therefore from September onwards it will be predominantly looking after the baby. The family do employ a weekly cleaner, therefore no housekeeping duties will ne necessary & they have a cat, so it is important the nanny is cat friendly!
General duties:
Sole charge childcare duties
Preparing breakfast and getting the eldest ready for the day
Planning an outdoor activity for the mornings
Putting the children down for naps – Usually around 11am for 2 hours
All nursery duties – cleaning bottles & keeping the children’s areas tidy
Prepping lunch
Planning engaging afternoon activities
Playgroups and fun activities
Candidate requirements:
Driver is highly desirable
Previous experince is a must 3+ years ideally
Family is a musical family –therefore musical experince would be bonus
Must be cat friendly
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week: Core hours 8am – 2pm (Can be flexible on the other hours, happy to do a few longer days or an evening to make up hours if required)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 gross per year
