A family, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire an educated part-time Nanny to care for their middle school-aged child in the afternoons and full-time on school breaks. Responsibilities include: school pick up, homework help (particularly science & math), taking to after-school activities, child-related housekeeping & laundry (someone who can help iron uniforms is a huge plus!), some light cooking for the child, and domestic travel. The ideal applicant will have a college degree and/ or a background in education, and be active & able to keep up with an active pre-teen. All applicants must be able to travel domestically, be Covid vaccinated, and have experience with children of a similar age. Some summer travel to the Hamptons would be a huge plus. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 7pm and 9am to 6pm during school breaks. Salary range – $35-45/hr. Immediate start.
