Lovely West Village, NYC family is seeking an experienced, caring and attentive live-in Baby Nurse for their newborn (due date 4/27/24). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, full infant care, feeding, bathing, changing, nail clipping, soothing when crying, tidying baby’s room and play areas, baby’s laundry, sterilizing bottles, and supporting breast feeding mother. Baby Nurse will also educate the new parents on how to care for their infant, best practices for sleep, bathing and feeding, etc. Will also have to help with light housework such as family laundry. Family has a Housekeeper 2 days per week. Ideal candidate is professional, calm, warm, discreet and understands boundaries. Must be CPR certified, fully vaccinated, speak clear fluent English and have excellent references. Schedule is Mon-Fri with flexibility to work weekends if needed. Would ideally like 24/7 support for about three months including five nights of coverage. Private bedroom/bathroom next to baby’s room is provided. Can leave on days off. Family has a small hypoallergenic dog. $400-$600 per day DOE.
