Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Baby Nurse to provide exceptional newborn care for an upcoming arrival. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in newborn care and be flexible with their hours and availability. This role will involve daytime and evening shifts during weekdays, with potential for overtime and weekend work as needed. Additionally, the Baby Nurse will be expected to accompany the family to Florida during the winter months (January to April), with live-in accommodations provided during that period.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive and attentive care to the newborn, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and ensuring the baby’s overall well-being.
Implement effective sleep training methods to establish healthy sleep patterns for the baby and offer guidance to the parents.
Assist with bottle feeding, maintain feeding schedules, and monitor the baby’s feeding habits and nutritional needs.
Ensure the baby’s environment is clean, safe, and organized at all times, including sterilizing bottles and equipment.
Keep a close eye on the baby’s health, promptly identify any issues or concerns.
Be willing and able to travel with the family during the winter months (January to April) to Florida, where live-in accommodations will be provided.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in newborn care, ideally with previous experience working with high-profile clients.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with parents and other household staff.
Flexibility with work hours and availability, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Willingness and ability to travel, especially during the winter months (January to April).
Schedule: Monday through Friday- 40 hours per week with the potential of overtime.
Salary: $30-$45 an hour (salary is negotiable based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience)
