A wonderful family in Amsterdam are looing to hire a full-time nanny to care for their 2 boys on a mix of sole & shared charge basis. They are looking for an ideal start date of May and have a lovely 2-bedroom apartment which will be offered to the nanny if required. They are looking for an experienced nanny in search of a long-term position, and who can fit in well with their family lifestyle.
The family consider themselves to be active, sporty, healthy, natural, authentic, communicative, funny, flexible, offline-ish, & spontaneous.
The boys are attending school/preschool in the Steiner Waldorf system, with the eldest in school Monday – Friday 1/2 days & the youngest currently attending nursery 2 days a week.
Accommodation: Separate 2-bedroom apartment near the family home
General duties:
School/playdate pickups and drop offs, which is an 8-minute cycle ride
Engaging in the boys’ play
Organizing playdates
Finding and doing interesting activities (theatre, museum, sports, music, etc.)
Outings to the local parks and walks in nature.
Evening babysitting once a week, occasional weekends
Accompanying the family on some holidays
Child-related tidying, cleaning, and cooking and shopping
Candidate requirements:
Driving and confident cycling skills are essential in Amsterdam.
Active with a genuine passion around health and well-being
Monday – Friday, approx. 40 hours per week approx. 9am – 5pm
£39,000 – £44,200 gross per year
