Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant needed for family with two school-aged children in Chicago, IL (Gold Coast). Both children are in school during the day so primary needs will be starting in the early afternoon starting around 1/1:30 and working through dinner (ending at 6/6:30). Family is open to longer hours for the right person and will guarantee 40 hours per week if needed.
Primary duties include:
Picking up from school and driving to/from various activities, playdates, etc.
Overseeing homework and assisting as needed
Engaging in fun activities—playing games, age-appropriate outings, etc.
Preparing snacks and dinner
Assisting with pre-bedtime routine (showers, brushing teeth, etc.)
Light household management tasks such as grocery shopping, occasional errands, etc. before picking the kids up from school
The family’s prior Nanny worked with them for many years, and they would love to find a great Nanny who wants to grow with them in the future. Both parents work full-time but are involved and would love to form a strong partnership with their Nanny.
Nanny must have a valid driver’s license, but family does provide a car for use while working. Family also offers paid vacation, paid holidays, and an annual bonus. Highly competitive hourly rate with guaranteed hours—family is open to offering more hours for the right person. Start date is as soon as possible
