First time parents in Flandreau, SD are seeking a skilled and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist for overnight support during the baby’s first three months. With both parents working in high-demand careers, the ideal candidate will be reliable, calm, and confident in overnight newborn care routines. This is a temporary position to help ease the family into early parenthood with professional support.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing overnight care for a newborn (feeding, diapering, soothing)
Supporting sleep conditioning and developmentally appropriate care
Tracking baby’s sleep and feeding patterns for parental reference
Maintaining a quiet, restful nighttime environment
Collaborating occasionally with the family’s doula for consistency in care
Start date and duration : 3 month contract starting late October
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM
Compensation $30.00-$32.00
