Professional Nanny / Teacher required for an exciting position based in Kildare, Dublin and Worldwide. An Irish family with 4 young children aged 6, 5, 3 and 1 years old. This position will be Monday to Friday, flexibility needed on the hours. Longer hours will be needed when traveling with the family. Start date is September 2024.
When in Ireland duties will involve Montessori and School collections, homework and taking the children to after school activities and general nanny duties.
When traveling, duties will mainly be creating structure for the children, teaching the children while following their Irish school curriculum and creating and executing exciting and fun educational activities based on the geographical location.
This will be a role suited to someone who is very flexible and willing to travel for potentially long periods of time, sometimes at short notice.
Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping the children’s bedrooms clean and tidy, following the daily routine of all children especially the youngest with naps etc.
The Nanny / Teacher will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities, arts & crafts, music and reading.
The Family are happy for a proactive Nanny / Teacher who will organize weekly outings to the library and attend playgroups and going to the local park. The children have after school activities and will need to be driven (swimming, music classes, dance, tennis)
It is essential to be able to occasionally cook healthy & nutritious snacks, meals, and lunches for the children.
Occasional Babysitting may be required, especially when traveling.
Fluent English is essential when assisting with homework.
Driver is essential with own car, car can be provided when traveling, full clean EU license essential.
When traveling with the family separate accommodation will be provided.
The Candidate must have qualifications and minimum of 2 years’ experience, excellent references, up to date First Aid & Garda Vetting.
