Family in Cumming, IA (Des Moines Area) is looking for a professional nanny/house manager for their busy family. They have 3 children, ages 5, 4, and 16 month old. All three are home in the summer, during the school year a majority of the day would be with their youngest. They put a big emphasis on learning and education and keeping their children active. Patience is a must with three small children, they someone who brings a calm and positive energy to their home.
Duties include:
Doing all of the laundry and putting away clothes
Taking out the trash/recycling
Sweep floors + vacuum under furniture and couch cushions
Restock supplies: diapers/wipes/paper towels, batteries
Make beds
Load/unload dishwasher
Change and wash bed linens + towels
Organize toy bins, bookshelves, closets, mudroom/laundry room, under sinks, etc.
Meal prep or assist with planning meals, as needed
Rotate clothing for season (store/donate old sizes)
Clean out pantry/fridge and toss expired items
Deep clean appliances (microwave, fridge, toaster, etc.
Clean bathrooms used by children weekly
Pack lunches or school bags, if needed
Tidy up living areas, especially the kitchen, play areas, and kids’ rooms
Family has a car for the nanny to use for work
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours minimum per week
