A family residing in Charlottesville, Virginia, seeks a dedicated and experienced Live In Family Assistant/Nanny to assist with household management and care for their two children, aged 10 and 7. The family is looking for a reliable individual to assist with childcare, household management, and family support duties. The family assistant is a combination of a household personal assistant and a nanny in one role. Many of the tasks this family assistant performs enables the children’s activities and care not to be significantly limited by the parents’ professional schedules and enables the parents to engage in quality moments with one or both children. The ideal candidate must have integrity, a good sense of humor, and patience. Must be a proficient swimmer!
Daily activities would include picking up children from school and/or activities, cooking nutritious family dinners, children’s laundry, keeping track of household supplies, notifying handyman when certain tasks are needed to be completed (changing light bulbs, fixing a faucet, etc.) Tidying up the home in between deep cleans which occur weekly. Manage schedules/calendars. Keeping their lives and home organized.
Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 11AM-9PM + occasional Friday
Salary: $30-$35 per hour
