Brooklyn Heights family with a premature baby boy are looking for a night nurse to work seven days per week, nights only. The hours will be 7 PM to 8 AM but they would love someone who’s flexible to come in a couple of hours early here and there when needed. The start date will be November 4 when their 24-hour Baby Nurse is leaving. At this time the baby will be about six weeks old and able to start sleep training. They would like the position to last between four and six months. The family has a townhouse and will dedicate the basement portion of the house to the baby and the baby nurse can sleep there as well. It is like its own separate apartment. Baby Nurse will be in charge of sleep training the infant, cleaning up the bowels, and anything involved with care of the baby. The family does have two friendly dogs in the house so the Baby Nurse must be dog friendly, but the dogs will be sleeping at that time so there will be no interaction. Both mom and dad are not working at this time, so they only need help during the nights. The family will be traveling for a week over Thanksgiving and a week over Christmas and does not need the Baby Nurse to work at that time but will still pay them. They would love a baby nurse who can introduce some structure and is a sleep training pro.
