We are looking for an experienced, educated and professional nanny/governess for a family based in Bristol. You will be required to work one week on and one week off. The family provide a separate apartment which is a ten minute walk away. (When you are on duty only). The parents often travel on business and during these occasions you will be expected to move into the family home to proxy parent.
There are three children aged 5 and twins of 10 years old. All three attend school full time. You will be required to cover all areas of child care. School runs, diary management, liaising with the school when required, arranging outings, activities, preparing meals and ensuring all child areas are kept tidy and organised. Two housekeepers are employed and everyone is a support to one another. Therefore, it is important you can work in a team environment.
The parents are looking for someone who is educated to degree level and you must be confident to support the children with their education/homework.
The ideal candidate will have a positive and approachable manner. Have a calming influence and enjoys spending time with the children.
The parents ideally would like someone who has worked in a Rota position previously and can show longevity in previous roles. You must also be computer literate and able to use an online calendar as the children have very busy lives.
It is essential that you are a confident driver and you will be provided with a car during working hours.
Salary dependent on your education and experience. £60,000 to 75,000 gross per year.
