A family splitting their time between Nassau, Bahamas, Southampton, New York, and the UK is looking for an adventurous and fun full-time, live-in nanny for their 2 school-aged children (ages 8 and 5-years-old). You must be able to live-in (7-days) in the Bahamas and when traveling between homes in the U.K., U.S. and other international locations. The family is currently based in Southampton, NY and will remain their for the short-term before returning back to their primary residence in the Bahamas. Live-in accommodations will be a private bedroom and bathroom. The working schedule will be Monday through Friday from about 7am to 7pm (wake up to bedtime) and you must be flexible to work occasional weekends as well.
The main responsibilities will be; getting the children up and ready for their day, taking the children to school, running errands, scheduling appointments for the children, calendar organization, taking the children to activities and play-dates, assisting in after-school homework help, minor grocery shopping, laundry for the children, and keeping the children’s areas clean and organized. The family has a cook, but occasionally the nanny will be asked to prepare or organize a very simple meal for the children. You must also be flexible to travel and sometimes work on major holidays. The ideal candidate will be active, energetic, comfortable on a boat or at the beach, and love to take the children on adventures. It’s imperative that this person be technically savvy, as some scheduling and corresponding with the family’s assistants will be required.
