First time parents in Arlington Virginia, due date February 19, 2024 are looking to hire an educated and energetic, experienced Night Nanny who is a Certified Newborn Care Specialist.
Responsibilities will be to provide full night/day care of newborn during the first 2 weeks and then reduce to 12 hour night shift with the potential to work during the day if needed or agreed. Must be able and willing to teach how to care for baby, make recommendations on baby’s needs, able to troubleshoot what is bothering baby, and able to get baby on a proper sleeping/eating schedule Responsibilities are inclusive of baby’s laundry, cleaning/sterilizing bottles/breast pump, clean up after baby, feeding/burping/changing diapers/bathing, calming, soothing, etc
Work Hours: Week 1: 24/7, Week 2: 24/5, Weeks 3/4: 12 hr Night (7pm-7am), potential for additional day hours. Initial 1 month contract, flexibility to extend required. The parents will also be looking for a full time Nanny once mom goes back to work.
Both parents are in the medical profession and have the opportunity to work 1 week per month in a hospital off the Eastern shore of Maryland. They would love it if the person can travel with them as needed. Accommodations and travel included.Candidates must have own transportation to/from residence

Salary : $40.00 for 12 hour shift, $750-800 for 24 hours
