An English-speaking, Texas-based family currently residing in Paris is seeking a French-speaking (Francophone) nanny to assist with their five-year-old son and help with family-related tasks. The mother is a busy journalist who works from home, and the father visits monthly.

– Preparing lunches and light cleaning.
– Running errands and helping with meal preparation.

– Assisting the child with his homework, especially in French, as he is attending a French school and is still learning the language.
– Cooking skills are a plus, though not required.
There may be opportunities for additional hours, including overnight shifts and travel, for which extra pay will be provided. The family is open to growth in the role over time. This is a year-round position.
Ideal Candidate:
– Local in Paris, fluent in both French and English to assist the child with his language skills.
– Common sense and awareness of the household’s needs, particularly when the mother is on Zoom calls or writing.
– Flexibility to travel with the family on occasion.
