Working in rotation, or working with celebrities, millionaires or billionaires is obviously exciting, but if that’s your only goal, you’re going to have a hard time finding someone who wants to work with you.

The last thing high-profile clients want is a nanny who wants the job because they are rich or famous, or because they offer a rotating schedule.
High-profile clients seek nannies who will put their children and family first. They also want discreet nannies who will take their privacy very seriously.
If you give the impression that all you care about is who they are, how wealthy they are etc. it can’t work.

High-end agencies want to be successful in their placements and look for candidates who are truly passionate about what they do.
This is a problem for them if all you seem to care about is the rota schedule, the high salary and the perks, or if you only want to work with celebrities.
They will question your motives and wonder if nannying is a real career choice or if you are doing it just because you need the income and because of the perks, and so they won’t want to take the risk of introducing you to their clients…

Applying to absolutely every job you find with the word “ROTA”, “Celebrity”, “HNW” or “UHNW” in the description, or applying to absolutely every six-figure job you see, isn’t a good strategy to land one of those positions; it’s actually one of the best ways to get blacklisted!
