A family in Telluride, CO is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist or Postpartum Doula to provide compassionate overnight support following the arrival of their baby. The family is looking for a knowledgeable professional who can offer expert newborn care while helping parents rest and recover during the early postpartum weeks. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with newborns, understands infant feeding and sleep, and can provide reassurance and guidance as the family adjusts to life with their new baby. Responsibilities include all aspects of overnight newborn care, supporting feeding routines, diaper changes, soothing, monitoring the baby’s well-being, and helping establish healthy sleep habits. This is a temporary contract beginning in mid-November. The schedule will include 6 to 7 overnight shifts per week. The family is considering local candidates only for this position.
