This lovely family are seeking an experienced, professional loving Nanny/governess to focus on their daughter’s education who is also familiar with the IB curriculum. The children attend an international school and during the school year the hours will mostly be in the afternoon. /Early evenings and every other weekend. Due to the parents jobs some flexibility for proxy parenting, extra hours will be required. Travel will be involved, they and this will be a mix of with the family or children only.
General duties:
Sole care and supervision of two girls aged 9 and 6
Working with both girls with a focus on their educational, personal, social, and emotional development.
Encouraging communication. Keeping both children organised in their environments & routines, thinking outside the box.
Preparing and overseeing their schoolwork – providing structure
Encouraging good manners and social behaviour
Assisting with school runs when needed.
Proxy parenting and babysitting will also be required.
Travelling with the children and or with all the family
Candidate requirements:
It is essential you speak English to a native level. strong preference for German language in addition.
Must have experience working in a similar role and understands the IB curriculum.
Preference for an EU passport or a Swiss resident permit, however the family are able to source working permits for the right person.
A teaching degree is required.
Someone who is professional, discreet who will respect the boundaries of the family – You will be required to sign an NDA.
A confident driver- there will be a car for your use.
A love of the outdoors and follows a healthy lifestyle.
Accommodation: Separate apartment close to the family residence
Salary: 120,000 CHF plus depending on your experience per annum (£100,000 plus per annum)
