A family in Ojai, CA is seeking an experienced Overnight Newborn Care Specialist to provide compassionate and respectful support during the early months with their baby. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about newborn care and understands the importance of supporting the parents’ choices, approach, and preferences. The family is looking for a professional who will collaborate with them, ask before making changes to routines, communicate openly and respectfully, and provide guidance without pushing a specific parenting style or sleep training approach. Responsibilities include overnight newborn care, supporting feeding and settling routines, diaper changes, soothing, monitoring the baby’s well-being, and helping create a calm and supportive environment for both baby and parents. This is a minimum three-month contract beginning at the end of October. The schedule will initially be seven nights per week, with the number of nights expected to decrease after the first few weeks. Local candidates only will be considered for this position.
