Family in Montreal, Canada is seeking a highly experienced and adaptable Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care for a 21-month-old toddler and a three (3) month baby. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infant and toddler care, with a proven track record of providing comprehensive support and fostering healthy development.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive Infant and Toddler Care: Provide attentive and nurturing care for both the 21-month-old and a three (3) month baby, including feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and putting them to sleep.
Developmental Activities: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate physical, cognitive, and social development.
Meal Preparation/Cook: Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the toddler and assist with feeding. Assist with some meal prep for family as needed.
Sleep Routines: Establish and maintain consistent sleep routines for both children.
Travel Management: Accompany the family on extensive international travel, ensuring the children’s comfort and well-being during transit and at various destinations.
Packing and Organization: Pack and organize children’s belongings for travel, ensuring all necessary items are readily available.
Maintaining a Safe Environment: Create and maintain a safe and stimulating
environment for the children, both at home and while traveling.
Light Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying play areas, laundry for children, and maintaining cleanliness of their belongings.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Adapt to changing schedules and environments, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the children’s well-being and daily activities.
Adherence to Schedules: follow set schedules and routines, and adapt those routines to new time zones.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies and administer first aid as needed.
Assist with all baby requirements and needs: This includes, but is not limited to, bottle cleaning, formula preparation, sterilizing, organizing nursery items, and anticipating the needs of both children.
This position requires extensive international travel, including extended stays in Canada and the USA, as well as frequent trips to France, Malta, Asia, Oceana (French Polynesia) and the Caribbean over a seven-month period.
This is a full time position and pay is $100 000-$115 000 per year, DOE.
